WWW HAIS'08

The next edition, HAIS 2009, will be held in Salamanca, Spain, in June 10-12th; under the frame of the 10th International Work-Conference on Artificial Neural Networks (IWANN2009).

In this edition, HAIS 2008, there are authors from
4 continents - 24 different countries:
USA, UK , SPAIN, CHINA, MEXICO, CZECH REPUBLIC, SINGAPURE, ROMANIA,
BRAZIL, ALGERIA, POLAND, FINLAND, GREECE, PORTUGAL, CHILE, NORWAY,
INDIA, SERBIA, ITALY, RUSSIA, GERMANY, TUNISIE, FRANCE and JAPAN.

The 3^rd International Workshop on Hybrid Artificial Intelligence Systems will be held in Burgos, Spain, in September of 2008. It is organized by the Applied Computational Intelligence Group (GICAP) of the University of Burgos.

Hybrid intelligent systems are becoming popular due to their capabilities in handling many real world complex problems, involving imprecision, uncertainty, vagueness and high-dimensionality. They provide us with the opportunity to use both, our knowledge and raw data to solve problems in a more interesting and promising way. This multidisciplinary research field is in continuous expansion in the artificial intelligence research community. HAIS'08 provides an interesting opportunity to present and discuss the latest theoretical advances and real-world applications in this multidisciplinary research field.

HAIS'08 proceedings are published by Springer in its series of Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence - LNAI (part of its prestigious Lecture Notes in Computer Science - LNCS series).
