Call for papers

We are looking for research that adopts a gender perspective from any discipline and/or falls within the field of Feminist, Gender and Women’s Studies. We invite you to submit abstracts of up to 450 words by 20 July 2026 at 23:59 (Madrid time) on any of the proposed areas of research.

Please complete the form by selecting: Topic (field of study), title, abstract (maximum 450 words) and author details (maximum 4 authors per paper and 2 papers per person; all authors must meet the requirements for early-career researchers). Please note: abstracts in which the methodology is unclear will be rejected.

Submissions will undergo a double-blind review process. All authors presenting a paper must register for the conference (€30, single fee).

Author guidelines

We recommend reading the “Frequently Asked Questions” section to resolve most of the queries that may arise. Below are the instructions for online or hybrid sessions (the in-person sessions are similar, but the in-person format makes things simpler):

  • Those presenting online should log into the virtual room 10 minutes before the start time to carry out the necessary technical checks. However, it is important to bear in mind that, as this is a hybrid conference, the schedule may be slightly affected by the progress of the in-person sessions.
  • We recommend preparing a brief presentation to accompany your talk (any format), although please note that the image of the person presenting online will always be visible in a box in the bottom right-hand corner. All participants must be visible, online and available during the Q&A session.
  • In exceptional cases of poor connectivity (e.g. rural areas), you may also choose to prepare a video of the presentation to better manage the time; however, this does not exempt you from being present to play it and to participate in the Q&A session.
  • The debate will be conducted via the chat function or by activating the microphone (after requesting the floor by raising a virtual hand). The moderator will read out the questions or give the floor to those who raise their hands.
