SUBMISSIONS

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS OPEN

Submission of papers, posters, and/or book chapters: until August 1, 2026 (inclusive).

Below are the requirements and guidelines governing the submission of papers and posters to the Congress.

The following sections specify the conditions of participation, text format, and the procedures for submission and publication. Proposals must be submitted exclusively through the channels enabled by the organization, comply with the established conditions, and align with the thematic tracks of the Congress.

All submissions will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee, which may request changes, clarifications, or modifications to ensure the scientific and formal quality of the works. Failure to comply with the guidelines, to implement the requested modifications, or to respond within the established deadlines may result in rejection of the submission and, where applicable, exclusion from publication as a book chapter.

Publication of texts as book chapters is voluntary. Once a paper or poster has been accepted by the Scientific Committee, authors who wish to do so may submit the full text for publication as a book chapter, following the editorial guidelines and deadlines established by the organization. Book chapters must be submitted exclusively through the designated platform, using the corresponding option, and will be subject to the review and editing process foreseen for publications derived from the Congress. It is recommended that the title of the paper and the title of the book chapter be different.

Participation Modalities

Proposals may be submitted in one of the following formats:

  • Oral communication, to be evaluated by the Scientific Committee. Its acceptance will allow, on a voluntary basis and provided that the corresponding registration fee has been paid, the subsequent publication of the full text as a book chapter.
  • Poster presentation, intended for the concise presentation of research projects, professional experiences, or intervention proposals related to cerebral palsy.

Oral Presentation Awards

Prizes will be awarded to the three best oral presentations given at the conference:

  • 1st prize šŸ†: €500
  • 2nd prize🄈: €250
  • 3rd prize šŸ„‰: €100

General Requirements

Texts must be written entirely in Spanish or English, using only one language throughout the document. All authors of a paper or poster must be registered for the Congress and have paid the corresponding fee, both for participation in the event and for any eventual publication.

Each person may participate as an author in a maximum of three submissions, and may be listed as first author in only one of them. Each submission may include a maximum of six authors. With regard to publications derived from the Congress, each author may participate in a maximum of two book chapters, in accordance with the limits established by the organization and collaborating publishers.

The author who registers the submission will be responsible for managing the upload of the final text through the designated platform. Submission of full texts for possible publication is voluntary; however, once the final text has been submitted, it may not be withdrawn under any circumstances.

Length and Structure of Submissions

Written Papers

Written papers must be between 400 and 500 words in length. Whenever the nature of the work allows, the text should be structured into the following sections: Introduction, Objectives, Methodology, Results, Discussion, and Conclusions. In cases where the design of the study justifies it, some sections may be omitted or replaced by more appropriate ones.

It is mandatory to include three to five keywords. The body of the text must not include references, acknowledgements, sponsors, or personal data or affiliations of the authors, as this information will be collected exclusively through the submission platform.

Papers must be prepared using the official template provided by the organization, available at the corresponding link.

Book Chapters (Dykinson Publishing House)

Participation in the publication of book chapters with Dykinson is voluntary and is contingent upon the prior acceptance of a oral communication by the Congress Scientific Committee.

Each author may submit one book chapter for a Dykinson publication within the framework of the Congress. All chapters will undergo a peer-review process coordinated by the organization. Accepted contributions include empirical research, implemented professional or educational experiences, systematic reviews, and theoretical or reflective works.

The length, structure, format, and citation style of the chapters must strictly comply with the editorial guidelines and the template provided for this publication modality. Texts must be submitted exclusively through the designated platform within the established deadlines, which are non-extendable.

The coordination, review, and editorial teams may request modifications or improvements to ensure the scientific and editorial quality of the publication. Compliance with these requests is mandatory. Refusal or failure to respond within the established deadlines will result in automatic exclusion from the publication process and loss of any associated rights.

Book chapters will be published in Open Access format and are included in the registration fee for those participants who selected this option during the Congress registration process.
