It is a great pleasure to invite you to take part in MCR 2023, the 8th International Conference on Multicomponent Reactions and Related Chemistry, to be held from September 6th to 8th 2023 in Burgos, Spain.
This conference continues the series of conferences on the same topic that were held in Munich (2000), in Genova (2003), in Amsterdam (2006), in Ekaterinburg (2009), in Hangzhou (2011), in Brasilia (2015) and Düsseldorf (2018).
Burgos is a small historical city located in north-central Spain, situated in the Pilgrim's Road to Santiago de Compostela. Its cathedral is a masterpiece of Spanish Gothic architecture declared World Heritage and is home to some of the best Spanish wines, Ribera del Duero.
The conference will take place at the University of Burgos and will focus on key topics in contemporary Multicomponent Reactions catalysis, which are of relevance to both academic and industrial chemists alike. The academic program of the conference will encompass plenary lectures, invited lectures, oral and poster presentations from the international MCR and related chemistry community. We aim to promote an intensive and fruitful exchange with students, professors and industrial professionals.
