Selection and admission
PROCEDURES
After the application closing date, the selection and admission process will be done in a 3-step procedure, as follows:
- The University of Burgos, as the MASTED coordinating institution, will short-list all of eligible candidates and the Master Content Monitoring Committee will draw up a selection ranking of excellence, taking into account the following criteria:
CRITERIA WEIGHT Academic excellence 50% Previous knowledge and experience 15% Project to be undertaken during the stay 25% Other languages (spanish and portuguese) 5% Other achievements 5% - The Steering Committee shall review the ranking in order to object to or approve the list of those admitted filling the positions published in the corresponding edition.
- The Master Content Monitoring Committee will communicate the final decision by e-mail to all visiting lecturer applicants.
Each visiting lecturer, prior to the start date of his/her activities, will sign an Agreement with the Consortium, which will contain the following information:
- Salary payment and travel, accommodation, and other expenses reimbursement conditions.
- A detailed description and schedule of the visiting lecturer’s activities within the programme.
- Cancellation conditions of the agreement.
- Intellectual property rights arrangements.
- Number, quality, and content of the reports to be submitted to the Consortium by the visiting lecturer as a summary of his/her activities.
- Commitment to promote and disseminate the MASTED in their institution, and more generally speaking in their country of origin.
